I am a shipwreck explorer and diver, and have just bought a preloved SSS600. This is the first time I am using this tool and would love to talk with other explorers who own the same model as I am really keen to learn how to get the most out of it. I have 100m of cable and am interested in finding wrecks up to 120m range.
Any help and tips would be greatly appreciated. I currently live in Auckland, NZ. I have a 6m inflatable to tow the fish.

Familiarize yourself with the SSS600: Read the user manual thoroughly to understand the features, controls, and settings of your side-scan sonar. It's important to have a good understanding of how to operate the equipment effectively.

Practice in shallow waters: Before diving into deep wrecks, practice using the side-scan sonar in shallow waters where the seabed is more visible. This will help you become familiar with the sonar's performance, interpret the data, and fine-tune your settings. Weighted decisions need to be made in online games as well, I found Astral casino bonus code https://casinosanalyzer....bonuses/casinoastral.com yesterday and if I didn't make the right decision, I would have to pour my money in as well. Adjust the sonar settings: Experiment with the settings to optimize the sonar's performance for your specific needs. Factors like gain, frequency, range, and pulse length can affect the quality and range of the images. Consult the user manual for guidance on adjusting these settings.

Interpret the side-scan sonar data: Learn how to interpret the sonar images to identify potential wrecks. Look for distinct features like hull outlines, debris, or unusual shapes. Practice identifying different objects on the seabed to sharpen your skills.
